Terms of Use
Effective 22 July 2026 · Version 1.0 · Governing law: Queensland, Australia
The short version: TaskStamp is a business tool for delegating and reviewing team tasks.
Your team owns its content; we host it and keep the service running. Trials are free and cardless,
paid plans renew until you cancel (see the
Refund & Cancellation Policy),
and the Australian Consumer Law applies to everything here.
1. Agreement
These terms are between you and TaskStamp, Brisbane, Queensland,
Australia ("TaskStamp", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using TaskStamp you accept these
terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use TaskStamp for a business, you confirm
you have authority to bind that business.
2. Accounts, roles & responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account details.
- Keep your credentials and team linking codes confidential — anyone who joins with a valid code is your responsibility.
- TaskStamp enforces roles: Owners, Managers, Supervisors and Reception can create, assign and approve tasks; workers (Drivers, Technicians, Workers) execute tasks and submit them for review. The team Owner is responsible for assigning roles correctly and for the content their team posts.
- The "Approved" status is an operational record in-app — it is not a legal signature or compliance certification unless you separately treat it as one.
3. Subscriptions, trials & billing
- Free trial: new workspaces receive 14 days of Pro features. No payment details are taken for the trial and it never converts to a paid plan automatically.
- Paid plans (Pro, Scale) renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Prices are in Australian dollars, GST-inclusive, as shown in-app and on our site.
- Cancellation: cancel any time via your app store subscription settings, or in-app for direct billing. Access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled per the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Price changes: we will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to your next renewal.
- Extra seats beyond a plan's allowance are billed at the per-seat price shown at purchase.
- App-store purchases are also governed by the applicable Apple Media Services or Google Play terms; billing disputes for those purchases follow section 3–4 of the Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use TaskStamp for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten or harm others;
- upload content you have no right to share — including proof-of-delivery photos showing people, number plates or premises without the authority to photograph them;
- probe, scan, scrape or overload the service, or bypass plan limits or role permissions;
- misuse support channels or submit vexatious chargebacks.
5. Your content
Your team owns its content — tasks, notes, member names and POD photos. You grant us a limited
licence to host, store and display that content solely to operate the service for your team. We do not
sell it, advertise against it, or use it to train models. You can export it (JSON, in-app) or delete it
permanently (in-app account deletion) at any time.
6. Service availability & changes
- We aim for high availability and offline-first operation, but the service is provided on a best-effort basis without a guaranteed uptime figure on standard plans.
- Features may evolve. We will not remove a paid plan's core headline feature mid-period without offering a remedy.
- TaskStamp is not a life-safety or emergency-communications device: do not rely on notifications for time-critical safety instructions.
7. Disclaimers & liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is". Nothing in these terms
excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the
Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
Where liability can be lawfully limited: our aggregate liability relating to TaskStamp is capped at the
fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or AU$100 if you have
paid nothing); and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, except where the law
prevents that exclusion.
8. Suspension & termination
We may suspend accounts involved in serious breach (fraud, unlawful use, security abuse), with notice
where lawful and practicable. You may end this agreement at any time by deleting your account in-app
(Settings → Team & cloud → Danger zone), which permanently removes your cloud data. Sections on
content ownership, liability and governing law survive termination.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes get 30 days' notice in-app and
by email. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, cancel and
delete your account before then.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have
non-exclusive jurisdiction. Australian Consumer Law rights apply regardless of this choice.
